If you live in a small city or town, no doubt the local store owners would allow you to put a can on their checkout counter, stating the donations are to be used to plant trees in your area.
Also, the normal things would get you money. Yard sales, car washes for a nominal fee with supplies donated by parents or businesses or clubs, or get permission from grocery stores to put up a stand to sell baked goods, made by you girls, friends, and family members, perhaps teachers.
