    If they are really glued on it is best not to remove them. As the plant grows the bond will weaken naturally and eventually become lose enough to remove. You could damage the tree by trying to remove it earlier. And it depends how you repot it. If you put it in the same size pot it normally will stay pretty much the same size. If you repot it in a bigger pot then, yes, it will get bigger.
