Chinese money tree leaves falling off?

I have had 5 chinese braided money trees.They all died one by one.First the leaves kind of spot,yellow,brown and fall off.Then one of the stems starts to rot and they die.Now I have bog one,it is doin fine now it is starting the same cycle.I used fertiliser, and water only 10-14 days.
Please help

I’m like 90% sure my Braided Money Tree has root rot. what can i do?

Does a large money tree’s trunk keep growing taller or just the branches?
