I live in a mini dorm near San Diego State University. College is expensive and money is tight so buying fresh flowers for inside is out of the question. But I have a big yard and the landlord said I could plant anything I wanted. Can anyone suggest some easy, fast growing flowers I can cut into vases for the holidays? Thanks!

i have a money tree, an indoor plant?, and the ants have come in and raided the pot, can they harm the plant and would it be okay to set the pot outside if the ants are harmless? It is a ‘tree’…
silly me i’ve tried the blasted cinnamon powder the bouncer recommended, now will that harm the plant too….
okay, not a dumb move to apply the cinnamon, found a website that says:
Repellents: Ants can be repelled by vinegar, cayenne pepper, citric extracts, bone meal, cinnamon, cream of tartar, salt, and perfume. You will have to keep trying different repellents to find the one your ants aren’t willing to tolerate. Place lines of the selected repellent at points of entry and at various points along their path.

so now will the cinnamon harm the tree?

I’m team captain to a club that me and a few kids are in. We are raising money because in spring we plan to plant trees. We want the best least expensive trees, that would grow well in Utah. We also need a way to tell how well they make oxygen.

I accually did this a year and a half ago and got arrested. I was wondering what you guys thought about this. I got put through hell. I am 18 and a half and am still suffering because of it. I should be saving money for college but they slap a huge fine on me($1685), of which I am still paying off, for one plant growing in my room under my fluresent lamp along with my other plants(peppers, jade plant, assorted cacti, snake plant, english ivy, and some peruvian goldenberrys). Oh yeah I am going to study botany in college. I was growing the plant out of curiosity mostly although I have to admit to using the herb several times before. The core of the question is the laws against marijuana have caused more harm to me than the use of the drug ever did? Is this right? Also shouldn’t I be the boss of what I choose to put into my own body? The laws and probation still can’t control my use, of which I have used while on probation, so why do they try so hard to ruin my life?

Is it too late to plant my garden?
I live in southern Maine and I want to make a little bit of extra money. And I was planning of putting a small garden in my back yard. To grow Carrots, Tomatoes, Green & Red Peppers, Onions, and Bell Peppers. Is it too late to plant the garden if I do it next weekend? (June 19thish) I know how to garden and all that stuff. But is it too late?
