My fiance and I don’t need anything in terms of gifts for our wedding would it be appropriate to do a money dance or have a money tree since we’ve told everyone that we don’t really need stuff?
We don’t need stuff for our house but we could always use the money would it be appropriate to do a money dance or have a money tree since we have told everyone not to get us stuff for the house?

I think having a money tree or a cage that people can put donations in is a good idea. That’s so that if people see it than they can give some money your way but if they don’t want to they don’t feel pressured to do so since you already told them you guys don’t need anything.

No. No. No. It was great of you to tell them you didn’t need gifts, so don’t be greedy now and ask for money. Duh.

You can have a money tree, cage or dance but if you really dont need anything have people donate money to a charity in your name. This way they are contributing in your honor and it goes to a good cause instead of gifts you will never use or cant return.
