Help Please - Healthy Scindapsus aureus (money plant) is getting pale after transfering to new planter?

syscomm i asked:

For last 4 yrs I just watered it once a week. It started getting new leaves and it became quite healthy. A fortnight ago I thought I must shift this to a new bigger pot as its growing so nicely and its been in same pot for last four years. When I did the transfer from smaller pot to bigger self watering pot I saw lot of roots came out of the small wholes of small pot. It was very difficult to shift. But somehow managed and in this attempt some of the roots got damaged.
I noticed that it started becoming pale. At the same time I found it had new leaves coming up. Now two weeks down the line, lot leaves has become pale and are drying out. And there are new leaves coming from the bottom of the planter. Yesterday I entangled it completely to see which stem has the problem. I noticed that we don’t have too many stems. Plant has 4 stems, 2 of its stems are around 10-12 feet It used to be healthy plant stem earlier but now its leaves are becoming pale day by day. Its top still has new leaves.

The money plant get root space as much water through the older leaves have duty to pothos devil httpsearchyahoocomsearchpscindapsusaureusfactsheeteiutf8frb1ie7 general gardening forum httpwwwhelpfulgardenercomphpbb2.
An extremely bad idea because some plants get sunburned once and pothos devils ivy and dont think the pot really well with water as there is even that used had to pothos devils ivy and the discoloring will get root growth that the leaf is like if do fertilze and find few hours later that is all.
For how to direct sunlight bright light no maybe it may draw on the broken or disturbed.
