Help! Trying to save my chinese money tree?

I purchased a chinese money tree a few months ago and it was thriving quite well. However, my rather inquisitive cat discovered it and decided to eat the leaves. Ever since then, it just doesn’t seem to look healthy. I recently transplanted it from it’s generic plastic pot into a larger one with better soil. Now what? How often should I water it? How much sunlight should it get? I would really like to see this plant thrive. Thanx in advance.
