how do you care for a Money Tree plant, including pinching back new growth?

To make new branches you need to pinch the top of the plant out this will make it bushy

I know that if it gets sad, you can cut off all the stems from the trunk and the whole thing will grow back. I basically thought that I killed mine, but I just cut it and it grew right back.
