I have a young braided money tree that is dying, I need some advice on how to revive it?

My braided money tree is a lil shy of a foot tall it has 3 completely dead twigs/branches and one branch that is hanging on for dear life w/ 3 brown leaves left. 3 branches are still green, but slowly fading to a brown dead like shade. What steps should I take in order to bring the leaves back? It’s kinda weird, it started dying when I was getting closer to my last unemployment check, coincidence?

    Coincidence? I think not! Try priming it with dollar bills and see how long they take to start to grow into 5’s.

    The soil around the tree about 10 in coins do not use pennies though the drip line mix in some 20 bills and about foot out from the trunk greenish blue.
