My money tree looks dead.how should I revive it?

My braided money tree lost all of its leaves and the trunk is very brittle and dry. I’m not sure if I killed it but would like to know any ideas for salvaging what is left. There is one single green leaf on the side. Can I plant that in some soil? Would the roots grow back?

    The money tree to come back that will not form roots the only thing would recommend is megavitamins.
