i have a money tree plant, and when i received it, it had a couple of ties holding the upper base of the plant together. i’ve left the ties on there, but i was wondering if i’m supposed to or if i’m to take them off. it’s a braided money tree that stands about a foot tall. any help would be appreciated! thanks!

Remove the ties. As the plant grows, those ties will basically strangle the plant to death if you don’t remove them. If you are trying to continue to train the plant in a spiral fashion, only keep the ties around the areas that haven’t solidified into position yet, then remove them so they don’t cause any damage. Ties are a short term thing, not long term.
