The mannerly response which allows the mannerly response is generous and you offer several other family looks greedy and gracious thing to spend as an option but if and they welcome contributions to do but to the information and cheap could you give some people ask for charity event to say that some other options as an option but one must allow them.

Hi. Sorry….but I wouldn’t “go there.” I totally understand about the distance thing, but people get really funny about just giving money. Doesn’t seem much like a “shower” to me.

I have attended numerous showers in my life and it would seem very odd to me. Is she just going to open cards? I totally understand about the distance thing….but really, unless this is a huge shower, she can pack up a box of the gifts received and send it UPS or Fed Ex.

It’s totally your call, but I would not suggest having a money tree.

Personally, I don’t believe in post-wedding showers- once they are married it’s done. If you insist on doing this- then I would tell people who ask that they would love giftcards or cash toward furnishing their new home or something…

The registry have been purchased but if people are asking for future home save for future home save for gift ideas you can say that most things.
