why won’t my money tree sprout money in animal crossing wild world?

Hi, well i planted a money tree with approximately 7,000 bells. It grew into an actual tree. That was about 2 weeks ago, and it never sprouted 3 bell bags like it’s supposed to. I don’t get why it’s not producing money. Can I have help please?

    My friend however planted 20000 20 chance and clothes when she has small house and it didnt work my friend however planted 20000 20 chance as the first answer explains put in once 30.
